301st BG, 419th BS
F/O Charles R. Miller was a navigator of the B-17 A/C #42-31893 “Busy Bee” which crashed on February 14, 1944 near Mantua. Taken prisoner, he spent 16 months in a prison camp; he was released on May 1, 1945.
Charles R. Miller died on May 14, 2003.
